Quick update, which will no doubt please gkfi  Grin.
I've just added to the gallery some pics of Kirsten on-set last friday.

Great job, John!! I knew we can count on you! Grin
By the looks of the on-set pics, Director Kirsten was just there for some preparation or to find the perfect view and camera angle. Can't wait to see her in director's chair!
I must say she handles everything pretty well!

We all get caught in scheduling problems, but ... why would Kirsten squeeze in  her directing debut just after she flies home from England, and just before traveling to NY to finish filming her part?

It seems Kirsten is all over the place at the moment.  I still thought she was in London filming with that guy out of Hot Fuzz.  Shows what I know.  Busy girl.

She is very hard working.... I think she is great!  Smiley

I think it's the schedule of Glamour reel, because they sort of want all the directors to finish their projects before/in August. Besides, the other two directors already finished theirs, and it'll only take them 3 days to shoot and no re-shoot allowed.

Tough to have no reshoots.  Well, I guess that is how you learn ( maybe.)

I need to read some things before watching her movie.  Can one of you indicate the time lag, and (maybe) the name of the movie, and how I can see it (personal showing at home of Kirsten, DVD, hear voices only version on radio?)

About her directorial debut? It's about 15 mins long, and if things didn't change much from last year, the set of glamour reel projects will appear on Glamour's official site and eventually be shown in 25 markets starting in October, and a DVD containing them will also be inserted into the December issue of Glamour. Other than these, Kirsten's debut is rather mysterious compare to the other two shorts.

Well if this report is correct and if I'm not putting 2 and 2 together and making 5  Grin  it looks like Winona Ryder will be appearing in the film and it will be called "Welcome".

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Winona Ryder and Mickey Rourke have joined the ensemble cast of "The Informers," an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' novel.

The two join Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Brandon Routh, Ashley Olsen, Jon Foster, Lou Taylor Pucci and Austin Nichols in the drama, to be directed by Gregor Jordan.

The film, set in 1980s Los Angeles, follows a week in the life of a group of morally challenged characters -- a movie executive, his wife, his mistress, a rock star, a vampire and a kidnapper.

Ryder will play a newscaster who has just been dumped after a longtime affair with a married producer. Rourke will play an immoral former studio security guard who plots to kidnap a small child to sell to the leader of a Los Angeles cult.

Principal photography on the Senator Entertainment production will begin in October in Los Angeles.

Ryder next stars in "Welcome," directed by Kirsten Dunst, and has finished shooting Daniel Waters' "Sex and Death 101," set for release next year. Rourke next appears in John Madden's "Killshot."

Ms Dunst said something about Winona Ryder some time back.  I think she said she was very beautiful and talented. So not surprising that she would use her in her movie. But I kinda maybe thought that Michelle Williams was going to be in the short. We would surely know more if this was not the short movie for Glamor wouldn't we?  I think so.  And does this mean that KD will have to (or have the option to) join the other two guilds?  And it won't be easy looking things up with the title "Welcome."

That's an amazing amount of credits listed for a short movie.  This tells me that even a short movie is extremely complex.  I still don't know when she wrote the screenplay.  She's been very busy for the last several months.

And will KD be going out to publicize the movie when it is shown?  I personally think NY and LA are way overused.  I myself would suggest a more  centrally located area.
