Kirsten's take on the reboot:"It's sad to see it end. I think for Sam it was time for him to move on, and so we're all going to move on with him. But we've had a good 10 years."

According to The Cinema Source, Logan Lerman will indeed be playing Spider-Man in the highschool reboot. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief star is set to suit up in the upcoming flick after rumors swirled over who would replace Tobey Maguire.

The new Spider-Man movie will borrow from Marvel's 'Ultimate Spider-Man' storyline, in which Peter Parker gets his powers while still in highschool.

The film will be directed by Marc Webb, who helmed (500) Days of Summer. There are no rumors on who will replace Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson or James Franco, who played Harry Osborn.
